"Gem": a 1928 Deluxe model built in Lindsay, and restored in 1983 for Ontario Lieutenant-Governor, John Black Aird. The hand-start St. Lawrence was a replacement engine in the early 1930s. The boat has recently been refitted with the original Caron Model S by its' new owner, Tony Taylor.
